Wedding Décor Orange Ombré

The rusty orange shades + greenery was the perfect fit for this fall outdoor wedding in New England with rustic barn + lovely tree filled surroundings.

For this wedding DIY project I hand dyed cheesecloth in shades of orange. Cheesecloth was the perfect material for this project; comes in inexpensive bulk rolls along with having a romantic texture + was a nice nod to the Bride, a cheesemonger. This fabric was the key design element throughout, used as; drapery garland for the backdrop of the ceremony hung in a tree, draped behind the bar, + was the dinner table runners.

The other DIY was the table numbers which were also the centerpieces for the tables. With paint pens the numbers were added on these glass vases + a painted wood base then filled with greenery + fairy lights. This multifunctional décor cut down on the floral arrangement costs + let the table runners with family style served food be the “main show”.
